This document outlines the structure, format, and progression rules for the ProSquadz Champions League. The tournament is modelled on the new UEFA Champions League format and tailored for competitive EA FC Pro Clubs esports play, ensuring fairness, scalability, and competitive integrity.

Section 1
Competition Format
- Total Squads: 36
- Competition Type: League Phase + Knockout Rounds
- Registration: First come, first served
- Squad Eligibility: Minimum 6 registered players, maximum 17 players
Section 2
League Phase
- Each squad plays 8 matches in the league phase
- Fixtures are randomly generated by the ProSquadz system
- Squads are assigned into pots on a first come, first served basis
- Each fixture is played over two legs
- Aggregate score over both legs determines the match outcome

League Phase Points System

Goals, assists, and appearances from each leg count toward tournament totals regardless of match outcome.
Section 4
League Phase Qualification

Section 5
Knockout Play-Off Round
- Fixtures are randomly generated by the system
- Squads ranked 9–16 are seeded against squads ranked 17–24
- All ties are played over two legs
- Aggregate score determines progression
Section 6
Knockout Rounds
- All knockout rounds, including the Final, are played over two legs
- A match winner must be determined
- If aggregate scores are level, a third leg is played
- Third leg includes extra time and penalties if required
Section 7
Hosting Rules
- Each squad must host one leg per tie
- Enable Join Live must be turned OFF at all times
- In knockout rounds, the squad that hosted the first leg hosts any required third leg
Important: Failure to turn off Enable Join Live may result in a forfeit. Check your settings before every match.
Section 8
Financials & Refunds
- Registration fees are required to enter the competition
- Refund requests are accepted up to 10 days before tournament start
- Earnings are distributed to players within 48 hours after tournament conclusion, based on contract terms
