Match Rules
ProSquadz · Full Version
Platform-wide rules for all players and leadership teams
These are the platform-wide rules that govern all players, squads, and leadership teams on ProSquadz. All participants are expected to know and comply with these rules in full.
Section 1
Match Format Rules
- All fixtures are played in a home and away format
- Fixture outcomes are decided by total wins across both legs.
- Total wins across both legs determine which team earns 3 points. One win each results in a draw.
- Total wins across both legs determine which team advances. One win each triggers a 3rd leg, with penalties deciding the winner if the 3rd leg ends in a draw.
- The decider must go to penalties if it remains level after full time
Section 2
Line-Up Submission Rules
| Window | Deadline | Consequence |
|---|---|---|
| Submission opens | 2 hours before kickoff | Window is live |
| On-time submission | 1 hour before kickoff | No penalty |
| Late submission | Up to 30 minutes before kickoff | Late fee applies |
| Missed deadline | Under 30 minutes before kickoff | Automatic forfeit — 3-0 loss |
Important: Only players who have confirmed their Availability on the app are eligible for selection. No confirmation means no selection.
Section 3
Squad Eligibility Rules
- Squads must field only registered ProSquadz players in all matches
- If a player is unavailable or a slot is empty, the position must be filled by AI
- No stand-ins or unregistered players are permitted under any circumstances
Using unregistered players may lead to: disputes, points deductions, and competition penalties. Don't risk it.
Section 4
Match Results & Stats Submission
Leadership teams must accurately submit and validate: match results, goals and assists, and supporting evidence where applicable.
Submission Windows
| Leg | Deadline |
|---|---|
| 1st leg | Within 45 minutes from kickoff |
| 2nd leg | Within the next 45-minute window |
Response & Validation
- Once a team submits, the opponent has 15 minutes to submit their results
- After both teams submit, each leadership team has 30 minutes to validate stats
Failure to submit or validate within the required timeframe will trigger an Admin Review, which may lead to league point deductions or disqualification.
Section 5
Disputes & Evidence (VAR System)
- All disputes must be supported by evidence — preferred: video recordings or live streams
- Screenshots are accepted where video is not available
- The VAR team will make decisions based on evidence provided — decisions are final
- Filing a dispute without evidence results in a strike and increased risk of penalties
- False or fraudulent disputes will result in punishments
Record your matches. If something goes wrong and you have no footage, the VAR team cannot assist. Always hit record before kickoff.
Section 6
Match Communication Rules
Match Chat opens after line-ups are confirmed. Leadership teams must use it to coordinate the fixture.
Responsiveness Rules
- 15-minute grace period after scheduled kickoff time
- Non-responsive teams may forfeit the fixture automatically after an admin is tagged
Proof Requirements
- Screenshot of in-game invites sent
- Video stream showing the lobby invite request
- Squad names must be clearly visible in all evidence
Match Request Rules
- Lobby requests must be sent by the Captain or Vice Captain only
- Requests must alternate between squads per leg
- Enable Join Live must be turned OFF for all squads — failure to do so could result in a forfeit
Section 7
Communication & Identity
- Captains and Vice Captains must link their Discord accounts to the ProSquadz platform
- Squad names on the ProSquadz app must match the in-game team name on EA FC exactly
- Name mismatches may lead to penalties
Section 8

Captain-Specific Responsibilities
- Ensure the squad name on the ProSquadz app matches the in-game team name on EA FC across all platforms
- Ensure the entire squad complies with all ProSquadz platform rules
- Maintain leadership accountability across all competitions
Captains set the standard. If your squad gets penalised for something you could have prevented, that's on you. Lead from the front.
Section 11
Player Stats Amendment
- Once Result Validation has been submitted for a fixture, any request to amend player statistics must be lodged within 2 hours of the match start time.
- After the 2-hour window has expired, player statistics will be considered final and no further amendments will be accepted.
- All appeals for player stat amendments must be supported by sufficient evidence (e.g. official match reports, scorecards, video footage, or other verifiable sources). Appeals submitted without evidence may be rejected.
